Cruise Day 2 11-25-08

We spent our next day in beautiful Catalina Island! We loved this little island off the coast of California. We tried to go on a glass bottom boat but the company we wanted to go with do not have any glass bottom boats going out today. So we walked around and shopped. D (M's cousin) won the grand prize drawing at Del Sol. If you haven't been to a Del Sol before they sell all kinds of stuff that changes color when you go into the sun. T purchased a lizard key chain that changes to orange in the sun.

After shopping we headed back to the ship and ate lunch at the lido deck. D's 2 little ones headed down for a nap and the 4 of us went miniature golfing on the top of the ship. It was fun and T got 2 hole in ones; one of them courtesy of his sister who happened to knock his ball in the hole on her turn. Mid-day the kids went to Kid's Camp and the adults had some alone time to relax.

Tonight was Elegant Night. We had the best lobster and shrimp dinner with our favorite warm chocolate cake that we had almost every night because it was soooo yummy.
